Show a little more of yourself through your day
Once you have written your introduction in the first guide, show a moment that goes with it. If you enjoy walks, film your usual path. If you enjoy cooking, capture a meal you made.
Profiles on TomoStory start out locked. People can first see your everyday moments to discover what you like and how you spend your time. If they become curious, they can open your profile to learn more.
You do not need a polished new introduction. A view that caught your eye or something you enjoy during a break is enough.
1. Open the camera for the current hour

On your daily moments screen, tap the capture button in the current hour. Film what you are seeing or doing right now.
Moments are recorded by hour. You cannot go back and film for an hour that has already passed, so capture a moment when it happens. A TomoStory day starts at 4 a.m. Korea/Japan time.
2. Capture two seconds of your day

Frame your scene, then tap the center recording button. Two seconds of the short recording become one everyday moment. Hold your phone steady while recording.
The sky before bed, your walk home, or dinner you made are all good places to start. You do not need to plan a special day for someone else to see.
3. Review it and add a few words

Review the scene and add a short caption if you like. What were you doing? Why did you want to save it? A few words help someone understand the moment. A caption is optional.
If you filmed the wrong thing or want another try, tap the retake button. You can retake within the same hour. For example, a 3 a.m. scene can be retaken before 4 a.m.; once the hour changes, you cannot retake that hour's scene. After saving, you can also use the replace control while it is still the same hour.
When you are happy with it, tap ‘기록 저장’ (save record). This saves the capture on your phone. You will make the video for others to watch in the next step.
Start with one small moment today
Show the interests you wrote about in your profile through your daily moments. Someone might recognize a shared hobby or become curious about a day unlike their own.
You do not have to fill every hour. Start with one scene that feels like you.
